Unauthenticated database access via unsanitized fname query
Published Jun 30, 2025 · Updated Jun 30, 2025
SQL injection in code-projects Car Rental System 1.0 allows remote attackers to access its database through the signup.php fname field. The signup handler inserts the POSTed fname value directly into an SQL query without sanitization or parameter binding, enabling time-based blind payloads. No login is required, and successful exploitation permits unauthorized database reads or writes within the web application's database privileges.
