Database read and alteration via unsanitized edituserName
Published Jun 30, 2025 · Updated Jun 30, 2025
SQL injection in code-projects Inventory Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read or alter database data via edituserName. The /php_action/editUser.php handler inserts the multipart edituserName value directly into an SQL query without validation or parameter binding. No login is required, and a published time-based blind payload uses a MySQL SLEEP expression to extract database information or perform unauthorized database operations.
