Visitor-browser script execution via administrator-stored payloads
Published Dec 30, 2025 · Updated Dec 30, 2025
Stored XSS in OTWthemes Popping Sidebars and Widgets Light 1.27 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run scripts in visitors' browsers. Patchstack has not disclosed the affected field, handler, or missing sanitization and output-escaping operation that permits the stored payload. Administrator access is required to store the payload, and a visitor must load the affected content; resulting script execution is confined to that visitor's browser session.
