Contributor-level script injection via undisclosed DOM handling
Published Dec 30, 2025 · Updated Dec 30, 2025
DOM-based cross-site scripting in DesignThemes Portfolio Addon 1.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts into pages. Public advisories do not identify the affected DOM source, sink, file, or function, stating only that input is insufficiently neutralized during page generation. Contributor-level access and a visitor's opening of the injected page are required, after which the script executes in the visitor's browser and can alter page content or access data available to that page.
