Remote code execution via client-supplied Auto Repeat templates
Published Dec 29, 2025 · Updated Dec 29, 2025
Server-side template injection in Frappe Framework before 14.99.6 and 15.0.0 through 15.88.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute code. The Auto Repeat preview endpoint accepts template text from the client and renders it server-side instead of loading the saved email template from the database. Exploitation requires a low-privileged authenticated attacker with specific permissions to induce another authenticated user to open a crafted link, after which the template executes on the server.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
