CVE-2025-6892Network attack vector

Privileged API access via unchecked session context

Published Oct 17, 2025 · Updated Oct 17, 2025

Incorrect authorization in Moxa network security appliances and routers allows remote attackers to perform privileged API operations. The API authentication mechanism accepts requests against protected administrative endpoints without validating their session context or privilege boundary. Exploitation requires a legitimate user session to exist and can expose, alter, or interrupt the affected device, without downstream confidentiality or integrity impact.
