Authenticated database manipulation via updateid SQL injection
Published Jun 30, 2025 · Updated Jun 30, 2025
SQL injection in Code Projects Staff Audit System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to access and alter database data via updateid. The update_index.php endpoint inserts the GET updateid value directly into an SQL query without validation or parameter binding. A valid PHP session is required; crafted error-based, time-delay, and UNION inputs can read or alter database data and interrupt database-backed operations.
