Use-after-free via uncanceled delayed work
Published Jan 13, 2026 · Updated Jan 13, 2026
Use-after-free in the Linux Kernel fsl-usb PHY driver allows local users to cause unspecified impact during device removal. The fsl_otg_remove() path frees the fsl_otg structure without synchronously disabling pending otg_event work, so fsl_otg_event() dereferences freed memory. Reaching the race requires high privileges and pending work after a host controller binds or the USB ID pin changes; no consequence beyond the invalid access is published.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
