CVE-2025-68777

Kernel memory disclosure via off-by-one wire validation

Published Jan 13, 2026 · Updated Jan 13, 2026

Out-of-bounds read in the Linux Kernel ti_am335x_tsc driver before 6.19 allows local users to access adjacent kernel memory. The titsc_config_wires function accepts wire order 4 because its upper-bound check uses greater-than rather than greater-than-or-equal, then indexes the four-entry config_pins array. Reachability requires a TI AM335x touchscreen and control of its ti,wire-config device-tree property; the read can also misconfigure the driver.
