CVE-2025-68765

Local service interruption via mt7615 memory leak

Published Jan 5, 2026 · Updated Jan 5, 2026

Memory leak in the Linux kernel on affected systems allows local users to exhaust memory through the mt7615 wireless driver. In mt7615_mcu_wtbl_sta_add(), failure of mt76_connac_mcu_alloc_wtbl_req() returns without freeing the allocated sskb socket buffer. Local low-privileged access and an active MediaTek mt7615 driver are required; repeated failures accumulate unreleased memory and interrupt service.
