Userspace memory corruption via misbounded DSP event copy

Out-of-bounds write in the Linux Kernel's ALSA FireWire MOTU driver allows local users to corrupt adjacent userspace memory. The DSP-event read loop calls put_user() in four-byte steps but permits a final 32-bit write when only one to three requested bytes remain. Access to the sound device and an attached, streaming supported FireWire unit are required; the overwrite can corrupt or terminate the consuming process, not disclose kernel memory.
