Administrator privilege escalation via stored script injection
Published Feb 5, 2026 · Updated Feb 5, 2026
Stored XSS in Axigen Mail Server WebAdmin 10.3.0 through 10.5.56 and 10.6.0 through 10.6.25 allows remote authenticated users to run script. WebAdmin stores unneutralized log filenames, certificate contents, and Certificate File names and renders them as active browser content. A delegated administrator must control an affected field, and a higher-privileged administrator must later open the corresponding page; the script can grant permissions, alter configuration, or access sensitive data.
