Unauthenticated router reconfiguration via unguarded HTTP endpoints
Published Jan 8, 2026 · Updated Jan 8, 2026
Missing authentication in Panda Wireless PWRU01 firmware 2.2.9 allows remote attackers to alter router network settings over HTTP. The /goform/setWan, /goform/setLan, and /goform/wirelessBasic endpoints accept unauthenticated POST requests and apply attacker-supplied configuration values. Network access to the web interface is sufficient; resulting changes grant administrative configuration control and can reboot the router or interrupt connectivity.
