Arbitrary JavaScript execution via unsafe VIEW intents
Published May 26, 2026 · Updated May 26, 2026
Cross-site scripting in BrowserMainActivity in SailingLab AppLock 4.3.8 for Android allows local users to execute arbitrary JavaScript. BrowserMainActivity accepts VIEW intents carrying javascript: URIs and navigates to them without validating or restricting the URI scheme. The attacker must deliver a crafted local intent and obtain user interaction; resulting script runs in the app's browser context and can spoof its UI.
