Information disclosure in Fortinet FortiOS allows remote attackers to bypass a symlink-persistence patch through crafted HTTP requests. Fortinet has not published the affected HTTP handler or the validation error that lets crafted requests bypass the symlink-persistence patch. Exploitation requires prior filesystem-level compromise through another flaw and exposes confidential information without reported modification or service interruption.
