CVE-2025-68670Network attack vectorHinoki check available

Pre-authentication code execution via oversized domain string

Published Jan 27, 2026 · Updated Jan 27, 2026

Stack-based buffer overflow in xrdp before 0.10.5 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through a crafted RDP domain string. The xrdp_wm_parse_domain_information function copies a client-controlled domain prefix into the fixed-size resultIP stack buffer without limiting its length to the destination size. No authentication or user interaction is required; stack canaries block direct return-address control unless their value is also disclosed.
