CVE-2025-68663Network attack vector

Suspended-user document disclosure via omitted WebSocket check

Published Feb 11, 2026 · Updated Feb 11, 2026

Improper authentication in Outline before 1.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read modified documents over WebSocket connections. The authenticate function in server/services/websockets.ts accepts an access-token cookie and attaches the user without checking isSuspended. A previously issued token remains usable after suspension, exposing real-time document updates but not enabling changes or service interruption.
