Authenticated web-shell upload via missing type validation
Published Feb 20, 2026 · Updated Feb 20, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in Zozothemes Wiguard before 2.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to upload web shells to WordPress servers. The theme's upload functionality accepts attacker-controlled files without validating their file types; the exact handler is undisclosed. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and code execution follows when the server stores the uploaded file in a web-accessible executable location.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
