Contributor-level stored XSS via unescaped shortcode content
Published Dec 24, 2025 · Updated Dec 24, 2025
Stored XSS in Kodezen LLC Academy LMS 3.4.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts into WordPress pages. The affected shortcode path accepts contributor-controlled content without sufficient input sanitization or output escaping, storing markup that a visitor's browser later executes. Contributor-level access is required, and exploitation depends on another user viewing the injected page, exposing that user's browser session to script-driven actions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
