Editor-level stored XSS via unescaped widget input
Published Dec 24, 2025 · Updated Dec 24, 2025
Stored XSS in Brainstorm Force Astra Widgets 1.2.16 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts into pages. Widget input handling accepts editor-supplied script content without sufficient sanitization, then renders the stored content without output escaping. Editor-level access is required, and exposure is limited to multisite installations or sites where unfiltered_html is disabled; injected code executes when a user visits the page.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
