Build-time SSRF via userinfo URL allow-list bypass
Published Feb 5, 2026 · Updated Feb 5, 2026
SSRF in HttpUriPlugin in webpack 5.49.0 through 5.104.0 allows remote authenticated users to fetch disallowed resources via crafted URLs. HttpUriPlugin checks the raw URI with startsWith before URL parsing interprets the authority after @, so an allow-listed prefix reaches another host. Reachability requires experiments.buildHttp, an allowedUris security boundary, attacker influence over an HTTP(S) import, build execution, and network access; fetched content enters bundles and caches.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
