Secret disclosure via incomplete template masking
Published Jan 16, 2026 · Updated Jan 16, 2026
Information disclosure in Apache Airflow 3.1.0 through 3.1.5 allows remote attackers to view secrets in rendered templates. Serialization truncates oversized rendered fields with a secrets masker that omits user-registered mask_secret() patterns, leaving matching values cleartext. Exposure requires a rendered field to exceed max_templated_field_length; the reported consequence is limited to secret disclosure in the Rendered Templates UI.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
