Command injection in Zed before 0.218.2-pre allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via a malicious project configuration. The IDE automatically reads context_servers entries from a project's .zed/settings.json and launches their command and arguments without first establishing worktree trust. Opening the project is the only required user interaction, and the configured command runs with the Zed user's host privileges.
