Crash via oversized overlay row copy

Out-of-bounds read in libheif before 1.21.0 allows context-dependent attackers to crash image-processing applications via crafted HEIF files. HeifPixelImage::overlay() subtracts the input x offset from the row width and passes the resulting signed length to memcpy, where conversion to size_t produces an oversized copy. Exploitation requires a consuming application or user to decode an HEIF containing an iovl overlay item; the documented consequence is a process crash.
