CVE-2025-68428Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Arbitrary file disclosure via unrestricted Node reads

Published Jan 5, 2026 · Updated Jan 5, 2026

Path traversal in jsPDF before 4.0.0 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary server files through Node.js PDF generation. The Node.js loadFile method passes an attacker-controlled path to unrestricted filesystem reads, and addImage, html, and addFont expose the same operation. Exploitation requires an application to pass an unsanitized path into an affected method; the retrieved bytes are embedded verbatim in the generated PDF.
