Stored XSS via Vega AST function handler

Stored cross-site scripting in Elastic Kibana allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser through malicious Vega content. A function handler in the Vega AST evaluator fails to neutralize attacker-controlled script embedded in content that Kibana later serves. The Vega visualization feature must be enabled, and exploitation requires a user to view the crafted content; resulting script can read or alter data available to that browser session.
