Kernel panic via truncated rtl8187 receive packet

Buffer underflow in Linux 2.6.27 and later with an affected rtl8187 driver allows attackers to trigger a kernel panic via a truncated packet. The rtl8187_rx_cb() callback subtracts an RTL8187 or RTL8187B descriptor size from the socket-buffer tail without first checking skb->len. The crash path requires the affected driver for compatible USB wireless hardware to process a receive completion shorter than its descriptor.
