Userspace overwrite via oversized DSP event copy

Buffer overflow in the Linux ALSA firewire-motu driver allows local users to overwrite userspace memory through a short hwdep read. In hwdep_read(), DSP event handling copies an eight-byte event header without limiting the copy to the caller-requested count. Reachability requires ordinary access to the ALSA device node and a connected MOTU interface; the overwrite corrupts up to seven adjacent bytes, enabling a consuming-process crash or control-flow compromise.
