Integer overflow in the ALSA WaveFront driver in Linux allows attackers to cause unspecified impact via crafted sample metadata. The wavefront_send_sample() function casts the unsigned 32-bit header->size value to int before comparing it with the device free-memory count, allowing large values to bypass the intended size check.
