CVE-2025-68275Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Administrative actions via stored group-name scripts

Published Dec 17, 2025 · Updated Dec 17, 2025

Stored cross-site scripting in ChurchCRM before 6.5.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through crafted group names. The group creation workflow stores the name field without neutralizing executable markup, and the Active, Inactive, and All People listings render that persisted value in page output. Administrative privileges are required to create the group, and execution requires another user to open an affected listing; the script can act in that viewer's session, including creating an administrator account.
