Kernel memory corruption via oversized Supported Rates IE

Stack buffer overflow in the Linux rtl8723bs driver allows remote attackers to corrupt kernel memory via an Association Request. OnAssocReq passes the untrusted Supported Rates IE length to memcpy when copying into the 16-byte supportRate stack buffer and can also overflow while merging Extended Supported Rates. Exploitation requires the driver to operate as a wireless access point and the attacker to be within radio range; successful corruption can crash the kernel or alter kernel execution.
