Kernel panic via unchecked ESR IE offsets

Out-of-bounds reads in the Linux rtl8723bs OnBeacon path allow physically proximate attackers to trigger a kernel panic via a malformed beacon. OnBeacon reads two bytes beyond an Extended Supported Rates information element without confirming that either offset remains inside the received frame. Exploitation requires a system using the rtl8723bs wireless driver to process the crafted beacon, after which the unchecked read can crash the kernel.
