Crashes and data corruption via page-table replacement

Improper page-table updates in the Linux kernel on s390 allow local users to crash the system or corrupt data through HVO. The HVO path directly replaces an active valid page-table entry without first invalidating it using s390-required instructions. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access and HVO on s390; resulting stale translations can cause random crashes or data corruption.
