CVE-2025-68157Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Build-time SSRF via unchecked redirect destinations

Published Feb 5, 2026 · Updated Feb 5, 2026

SSRF in webpack 5.49.0 through 5.103.0 allows attackers to send build-machine requests to disallowed URLs via HTTP redirects. HttpUriPlugin checks allowedUris only for the initial import URL, then follows a 30x Location value without validating the redirect target before fetching and bundling its response. Exploitation requires experiments.buildHttp, attacker influence over an imported URL, and an allowed endpoint that redirects; it exposes build-network resources and can insert untrusted module content.
