CVE-2025-68132Public exploit

Process crash via undersized SLIP CRC frame

Published Jan 21, 2026 · Updated Jan 21, 2026

Out-of-bounds read in the EVerest Core DZG_GSH01 SLIP parser before 2025.12.0 allows physically proximate attackers to crash the process. The multi-message path passes a one-byte sub-message to is_message_crc_correct, which reads two CRC bytes without first validating the vector length. Exploitation requires control of the powermeter serial input and interrupts the affected driver process without reported data disclosure or modification.
