Unauthenticated file disclosure via path traversal
Published Jul 7, 2025 · Updated Jul 7, 2025
Path traversal in Marvell QConvergeConsole 5.5.0.78 allows remote attackers to read sensitive files through network requests. The compressFirmwareDumpFiles method uses a user-supplied path in file operations without validating that it remains in an allowed directory. No authentication is required, and successful exploitation discloses files readable by the SYSTEM-context service without enabling file modification or service interruption.
