Administrator-session script execution via unescaped search input
Published Feb 20, 2026 · Updated Feb 20, 2026
Reflected XSS in FixBD Educare 1.6.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to run scripts through a crafted search request. The educare-default-display-data.php template places the search parameter into an HTML attribute without output escaping, enabling attribute breakout and script injection. No account is required to craft the request, but an authenticated administrator must follow the malicious link; the script then runs with access to that browser session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
