Unauthenticated file disclosure via unvalidated path
Published Jul 7, 2025 · Updated Jul 7, 2025
Path traversal in Marvell QConvergeConsole 5.5.0.85 and earlier allows remote attackers to read sensitive files without authentication. The getFileUploadBytes method passes a user-supplied path to file operations without validating that the resolved path remains within the intended directory. A network-reachable installation is sufficient; reads occur with SYSTEM privileges and are bounded by that account's filesystem access.
