File disclosure and deletion via path traversal
Published Jul 7, 2025 · Updated Jul 7, 2025
Path traversal in Marvell QConvergeConsole 5.5.0.78 allows remote attackers to read and delete arbitrary files without authentication. The QLogicDownloadImpl class passes a user-supplied path to file operations without validating that the resolved path remains in its intended directory. A crafted request therefore returns and deletes a chosen file with SYSTEM privileges, exposing sensitive data and interrupting services that depend on deleted content.
