Artifact tampering via unchecked unmanifested payload files

Signature verification bypass in Northern.tech Mender Client 5.0.0 through 5.0.3 allows attackers to add unchecked files via modified artifacts. The client verifies only payload files listed with checksums in the update manifest, so an added unlisted file bypasses signature and checksum checks. Exploitation requires a signed artifact, a custom delivery path that accepts malformed artifacts, and a custom update module that installs or runs the added file; Mender Server and the default modules do not expose this path.
