CVE-2025-67895Network attack vector

DAG-author RCE via unintended Edge RPC API

Published Dec 17, 2025 · Updated Dec 17, 2025

Remote code execution in Apache Airflow Providers Edge3 before 2.0.0 allows DAG authors to run code in the Airflow 2 webserver. The Airflow 2 compatibility worker accepts a fetched job command array from the Edge RPC API and passes it to subprocess.Popen. Exploitation requires the development-only provider to be installed and configured on Airflow 2, crossing the DAG-author boundary into the webserver context.
