CVE-2025-67873Public exploit

Heap corruption via unchecked Skipdata length

Published Dec 17, 2025 · Updated Dec 17, 2025

Heap buffer overflow in Capstone 6.0.0-Alpha5 and earlier allows local users to corrupt heap memory through a Skipdata callback. The cs_disasm and cs_disasm_iter Skipdata paths copy a callback-supplied length into the fixed 24-byte cs_insn.bytes array without a bound. Reachability requires an embedding to enable Skipdata and accept a user-controlled callback or untrusted plugin; successful exploitation crashes or executes code in the consuming process.
