User ID disclosure via unmasked action URLs
Published Feb 3, 2026 · Updated Feb 3, 2026
Information disclosure in affected Moodle LMS releases allows attackers to read internal user IDs from blind-marking action URLs. The Assignment grading table builds action links with each submission row's real userid parameter even when blind marking is enabled, rather than substituting the anonymous blindid. A grader's interaction with the anonymous-submissions page exposes only internal identifiers, undermining blind marking without changing grades or availability.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=4.1.0 <4.1.22
- Affected versionversion=4.4.0 <4.4.12
- Affected versionversion=4.5.0 <4.5.8
