Cross-domain script execution via encoded path traversal
Published Dec 19, 2025 · Updated Dec 19, 2025
Path traversal in Mintlify Platform before 2025-11-15 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in customer domains. The /_mintlify/static/ proxy decodes path segments after tenant scoping, so encoded traversal leaves the selected CDN directory and fetches another tenant's uploaded asset. An attacker needs a tenant-controlled malicious asset; a visitor who opens the crafted URL runs it under the targeted custom domain, exposing data available to that origin.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
