Unauthenticated SQL injection via sortDirection query construction
Published Mar 18, 2026 · Updated Mar 18, 2026
SQL injection in Mura before 10.1.14 allows remote attackers to execute database commands through the sortDirection parameter. The beanFeed.cfc getQuery function incorporates attacker-controlled sortDirection syntax into SQL query construction without neutralization. No authentication or user interaction is required, and injection can read or modify data and interrupt database-backed service within the Mura database account's privileges.
