Username enumeration via distinct login responses
Published Apr 1, 2026 · Updated Apr 1, 2026
Observable response discrepancy in Sage DPW 2025_06_004 allows remote attackers to enumerate valid usernames through login responses. The login mechanism returns distinguishable responses for valid and invalid account names instead of a uniform authentication failure. The behavior affects versions before 2021_06_000 and can be toggled by on-premise administrators in newer releases, exposing account existence without granting account access.
