Cross-user impersonation via unscoped token lookup
Published May 4, 2026 · Updated May 4, 2026
Improper authorization in IKUS Rdiffweb before 2.10.6 allows remote authenticated users to impersonate other users through the API. UserObject.check_access_token searched every Token record instead of restricting the lookup to the user named by HTTP Basic authentication. Possession of any valid or stolen access token is sufficient to read or modify another user's data and perform privileged actions without user interaction.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

CVSS describes severity. EPSS estimates exploitation probability.
Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
Public exploit references
No public exploit references are available in this record.
Labels summarize the accepted research assessment. They do not indicate a test against your environment.
