Privilege escalation via manipulated privileged process
Published Dec 17, 2025 · Updated Dec 17, 2025
Local privilege escalation in affected DriveLock Agent releases allows local users to execute arbitrary commands on Windows computers. A local unprivileged user can manipulate a privileged DriveLock process, but the vendor has not disclosed the affected executable, interface, or unsafe operation that accepts attacker-controlled input. Reachability requires local low-privilege access; successful exploitation elevates command execution beyond the user's existing Windows privileges.
