CVE-2025-67790

Local system crash via unterminated IOCTL string

Published Dec 17, 2025 · Updated Dec 17, 2025

Buffer overread in DriveLock 24.1 before 24.1.6, 24.2 before 24.2.7, and 25.1 before 25.1.5 allows local users to crash Windows. The DriveLock Driver fails to validate that wide strings supplied in certain IOCTL requests are terminated, causing a buffer overread. A local unprivileged account must issue a crafted IOCTL; successful triggering occasionally causes a BSOD and interrupts the endpoint.
