CVE-2025-67749Network attack vector

Emulator-memory disclosure via unchecked MG buffer offsets

Published Dec 12, 2025 · Updated Dec 12, 2025

Out-of-bounds read in PCSX2 before 2.5.378 allows remote attackers to disclose emulator memory via a crafted disc image or ELF. In CDVD SCMD 0x91 and 0x8F, MG header fields determine bit_ofs and the block count used to copy from mg_buffer without validating the source range. A user must load the attacker-supplied image or ELF; exposed bytes are copied back into emulated memory, with no reported host-memory write.
